About my art
I first developed an interest in art and illustration around the age of two when I began sketching whatever was in front of me.
By the time I was five or six, I had progressed to drawing comic book and cartoon characters and trying my best to imitate the styles of various comic artists before developing my own.
By the time I was a teenager, I was painting in oils.
Although I never formally trained in art, I nevertheless studied on my own and continued to hone my skill.
Some of my favourite artists include Edward Hopper, Rembrandt, John Singer Sargent.
Below you will find a selection of my paintings. These range from Biblical art, portraits, scenes of everyday life and artwork suitable to be displayed on children’s bedroom walls.
In recent years, as I have been concentrating on illustrating the graphic novel of Luke’s gospel, I haven’t had a chance to paint on traditional canvases as much as I would like. However, I hope to get back to this eventually.
